WINNER: MMCS - Priyam Patki and Tejas Deshpande RUNNER UP: Army Public School - Rishiraj and Gyanendra Mishra

With over 500 teams taking part despite the incessant rains at Pune, it underlined the stature and popularity of the event with the schools in this region.

The prelim looked tough but the scores by the teams seemed far more than even what the quizmaster had expected.

The finalists were:

Vikhe Patil - Ved Ranade and Debopriyo Moulik
DAV Aundh - Abhishek Pant and Ksthij Jayakrishnan
KV (AFS) - Prashanth Kumar Singh and Jyothi Sorout
Bishops Co Ed - Animesh Swain and Abhishek Sureshan
MMCS - Priyam Patki and Tejas Deshpande
Army Public School - Rishiraj and Gyanendra Mishra

The final of the quiz started with all the teams going neck and neck for the first couple of rounds and it seemed difficult to choose a winner at this stage from these amazing teams.

The buzzer as always played the key role in the quiz as Bishops, DAV, MMCS and Army Public made some quick gains. In the next round based on lateral thinking, MMCS and Army school pulled ahead of the rest while MMCS consolidated further with some stunning answers.

The final round witnessed a huge fight back from the Army Public School duo, but it was an assault too late to close the gap as MMCS registered a win by 10 points at the end of the day.
